But in wider description, it is an identification not only for location of houses, but also businesses, buildings, or even information in internet and other network, which has certain schemes or systems, such as naming, numbering and coding.

On business cards, postal address is usually printed, maybe there's additional information of website and email address too. Postal address can be home or office address, to where people can send mail or package. Depending on which country a person lives in, address has various written formats.

These all have different functions. Postal address could represent social status of someone, but most importantly it identifies how a client, a friend, a relative and other people can keep in touch with him/her. Maybe they will need to send snail mail or parcel. Or a short message will be enough to be delivered via email. And a client may only need to visit the website address for his/her business.

Address is also used as parameter in statistic need. Street naming, house numbering and zip coding system is different from one country to another. Main streets could be named after famous people or historical events. Sometimes the city itself becomes street name. In UK/Ireland, mainly in small towns, house name replaces house number, e.g. Norfolk House, Belvoir Castle, and Castle Droge. House numbering was firstly introduced in Paris in 15th century. The scheme varies in different countries and even in different cities by color and style. For example, in Florence black numbers are for houses, and red numbers are for businesses. Many cities in North America use block numbers and addresses are based on Cartesian Coordinate System.

Don’t Cry

I accidently cried, and then I prayed. I needed 5 minutes more to dry my eyes. And God led me to go to my grandma. She’s never been the best one in the world, but she knew how to be a good grandma at that time. So I told her what I visited her for. But she stared at me. And she asked me how could my eyes look wet.
Oh, I thought I had wiped my tears perfectly. I shook my head. Damn, the water seemed still remain, and tears began to automatically roll down again. My hands were busy wiping, while my grandma asked me to follow her. I took a sit on a ladder-step. She made a light conversation to give me time calming down. Her hands opened up one or two drawers, looking for what I needed. Then she asked me again about the reason I acted so childish.
“Tell me, is it your dad? He’s home?” I shook my head as a ‘no’ answer as well as a sign for her to keep me in silent. But she continued, “So it’s your mom? You’re angry with her?” I slightly nodded, and said to me ‘there are times mothers aren’t there for us’.
Then she gave me what I have requested before. But she gave me more than what I needed. Alhamdulillah. There will always be a flight to Mecca.
“Don’t cry, wipe your tears,” said my grandma as we ended that uncomfortable situation. And I said ashamedly for not able to control myself, “Please, don’t tell anyone.”
When I walked to my office, I remembered my former teacher who had wiped my tears, and tried to convince me that I was the best, we were the best. It was the hardest day of my life, when my schoolmates and I joined a tough competition. Actually he was always be a very good father for all his pupils. He wiped the tears of his children not only with his hands, but also with his heart.
How grateful I am to having these persons around when nobody cares.

I Keep

I keep my heart
I keep my love
I keep my soul
only for you
for tomorrow

don't break the dawn
without spending the end of the night
to wet your lips with the names of God
just to make sure
you clear your own name
for the next day
that's what I say to myself
everytime I go to bed

cause I know you'll be there
tomorrow or today
to pick me and take me
here or anywhere
